The short version: RSLVX stores text (names, titles, notes, credits) in its own database. Your files stay in your own Google Drive or on your own Mac. RSLVX can only see the Drive files it created for you, and it never sells or shares anything.
What we store
- Your Google profile: name, email address and profile picture, so friends can see who shared what.
- What you make here: folders, projects, notes, credits, copyright statuses, Fusion setups you post, comments and likes, plus a record of who changed what.
- File details, not files: for each file you add we keep its title, type, size and length. For a Drive file that's the Drive file ID; for a link, the URL; for a file on your Mac, its path and which Mac it's on.
- Paired Macs: the name you give each Mac and when it last checked in.
- Sign-in: your session, with the IP address and browser it came from, and your Google access tokens, stored encrypted.
What stays with you
- Files you upload go to your own Google Drive, straight from your browser. Video never passes through our server.
- The keyer, subtitles and downloads run on your Mac, through the RSLVX engine you install. Your footage isn't uploaded anywhere to be processed.
Google Drive access
RSLVX asks for the drive.file permission. That lets it see and manage only the files and folders it created for you or that you opened with it. It can't read, list or change anything else in your Drive. When you share a project, RSLVX shares the matching Drive files with the people you added, and removes that access when you unshare.
RSLVX's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to run the features you see, never for ads, and no person reads it unless you ask for help with a problem.
Who can see it
People you share a folder or project with can see what's in it. Fusion setups you post can be seen by anyone signed in to RSLVX. Nobody else can see your data. There are no ads, no analytics trackers and no data sales. The site and its database are hosted on Railway.
Deleting your data
You can delete your projects, folders and files at any time, and remove RSLVX's access in your Google account settings. To delete your account and everything stored here, email the support address shown on Google's sign-in screen for RSLVX. Files in your Drive stay yours either way. Deleting your account doesn't touch them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on the site before it takes effect.
